In two weeks, the University of Oregon is hosting their first major film festival in Eugene entitled Cinema Pacific http://cinemapacific.uoregon.edu/. For the third year in a row, the students of the Winter quarter Documentary Production class at the Art Institute of Portland won a position among the International Documentary Challenge finalists. The Doc Challenge is a 5-day international filmmaking competition that takes place each March.
The film, Death Goes Green, an intimate portrait of the pioneers of Oregon’s green burial movement, will premiere at the prestigious Hot Docs International Film Festival in Toronto, Canada on May 2nd, where it is up for additional commendations.

“Leverage” is back! And they are bigger than before! Season 3 of “Leverage” has begun principal photography and they are due to shoot sixteen episodes this year.
