The Bend Film Festival, at its core, is homemade and homegrown. The festival is made possible by our hard-working staff, devoted volunteers, and amazing community of supporters.
This year the festival creative and poster were designed in-house by our talented BendFilm team — led by Marketing Manager Elise Furgurson with help from Christina Rosetti, Doone Williams, Selin Sevinc and Giancarlo Gatto. The design was inspired by our mission to bring the best in independent films to Central Oregon and celebrates the spirit of the Bend Film Festival as a true indie festival.
THE 2024 POST-PRODUCTION GRANT APPLICATION OPENS MARCH 20, 2024.
The funding is designed to encourage the completion of a local feature-length film and position local producers to build toward larger, more resourced productions. Past recipients of the Post-Production Grant have included “Nora” by Anna Campbell and Dawn Redstone Jones’ “Mother of Color,” the latter picked up by Amazon Prime Studios for world wide streaming distribution.

Tag! Queer Shorts Festival presents a vibrant perspective on queer life in its 11th anniversary edition on April 6-7, bringing 51 all-new films to Portland’s Hollywood Theatre. Celebrating the work of both local filmmakers and directors from as far away as Tunisia and Iran, Tag! selections are thought provoking, humanizing, and often a bit disruptive to typical discourses around sex, gender, and relationships.
This year’s program offers four curated thematic blocks, each one with an eclectic mix of animation, music video, narrative fiction, dance, and documentary.
