Lighting On Location With Gary Nolton Starts April 14th

Join the Northwest Film Center and the owner of Limbo Films for a nine-session course all about lighting. Starting Thursday April 14th, the class will visit a variety of locations and each week explore a new aspect of lighting typical for a narrative film. Taught by an award-winning working Cinematographer, this relaxed yet informative class takes you far beyond the basics by using modern equipment to illustrate a myriad of approaches to lighting.

GARY NOLTON, owner of Limbo Films is a director/cinematographer with over 25 years’ experience creating stunning and effective visual imagery for commercial clients, national advertisers, documentaries, and dramatic films. His portfolio includes nearly 400 television commercials for such entities as Nike, Coca Cola, Honda, the Portland Trail Blazers, Adidas, and many more. A graduate of the Art Center College in Pasadena, he has also completed over 2,000 print assignments as a still photographer.
