OCF Community Grants Spring Cycle Opens Dec. 3

Oregon Community Foundation is pleased to announce our Community Grants program will open applications for its 2025 Spring Cycle between Dec. 3, 2024 – Jan. 14, 2025. This cycle’s grants will provide general operating support.

Key dates and program guidelines for the 2025 Spring Cycle are now available on the Community Grants website. This information includes:

  • Funding priorities
  • Application questions
  • Sample answers for a competitive application
  • Review criteria

Funding for the Spring Cycle of Community Grants will prioritize small rural organizations, culturally specific organizations and culturally responsive organizations. If this cycle is not a competitive fit for your organization, look for the second cycle announced later in 2025.

We know as nonprofit leaders you are busy, which is why we are always working to improve our application process. We have created two opportunities for you to learn more about this cycle and receive personal attention for any questions:

  1. Prerecorded informational videos will be posted by noon on Nov. 21, 2024 on the Community Grants website.
  2. OCF will host two open informational sessions with regional Program Officers available by clicking this link and registering for one of the below. We will record them and post them on the Community Grants website to allow for frequent and easy access.

Program Officers will be available for one-on-one meetings, if needed. Please note, OCF will be closed the week of November 25, 2024 to observe the Thanksgiving holiday.

For Arts and Culture Organizations: In March 2024, OCF announced a landmark investment in Oregon’s arts and culture organizations. The Arts and Culture Rebuilding Program, with generous support from our donors, will award $8 million to arts and culture organizations over the next three years. For this cycle, we ask all arts and culture nonprofits to apply for the Rebuilding Program instead of Community Grants so that their applications are evaluated together and have equitable access to funding.

Please note, the current application cycle for the Arts and Culture Rebuilding Program closes on December 10, 2024.

As always, we also recommend updating your Organizational Profile, which allows our network of generous donors to learn about your organization’s mission, projects, impact and current funding needs.

Please help us share this opportunity with those beyond our current network by forwarding this email and sharing our nonprofit newsletter sign-up link to others who may be interested.
