Due to a retirement, Oregon Film is seeking a Project Manager to begin work through our Portland office in March of 2022.
We are looking for someone who has strong relational, communication, and research skills. The ideal applicant has the demonstrated ability to balance multiple complex problems, details and personalities.
This position is tasked with managing projects, producers and fielding inquiries from parties that reach out to Oregon Film about production work in the state. The Project Manager handles incoming locations and permit queries and then coordinates the distribution of information, contacts, photos and “project lookbooks” to interested producers, productions and locations personnel. In addition, the Project Manager works to keep our online Locations Database up-to-date and relevant to third party users and production and locations teams. This includes updating information and contacts, researching and communicating restrictions and regulations to interested parties as well as adding new locations and projects while removing outdated information and photos. Ensuring that contacts for local counties, cities and organizations – including state and federal parks, tribal lands, local film liaisons and permitting agencies – are current and ensuring there is ongoing contact and communication with these entities is a day-to-day aspect of the position.
Application period closes on February 16, 2022.
