If you haven’t heard yet, there is a career school in town for professional makeup artistry! We provide a quality education in the art, business, and techniques of professional makeup artistry for the film, television, special effects, theater, media, and fashion industries.
The Art of Makeup is an ongoing resource for continuing mentorship, networking, and community job placement assistance. Our graduates are placed on our job board for 18 months with the goal of giving them on set experiential opportunities for continued education and networking opportunities to get them working.

We are currently members of OMPA, and stay involved with the community, regularly participating at OMSI After Dark, The Northwest Filmmakers Summit, The Oregon Ballet Theater performances, and recently shared a booth with Oregon Film at the Northwest Youth Career Expo.
We are always looking for field trips, partnerships and collaborations to offer our students real world experience as well as guest speakers to share their career experience and knowledge of their industry. If you or your production company can offer a tour, internship, would like to visit our school and talk to our students, or if you have any other idea to get graduates involved in the community, please let us know! We are here to support our local film industry and provide skilled local makeup artist talent.
