Richard Keith and Erin Cardillo created this new comedy series, set in Portland, that features a restaurant themed backdrop (which Portland plays perfectly) starring, Jonathan Silverman (“Weekend at Bernies”), Krista Allen (“The LA Complex”), Nathaniel Buzolic (“The Vampire Diaries”) and Emma Fitzpatrick (“The Social Network”). Oregon Live, reported that Cardillo and Keith “really wanted to do a show that had a restaurant element,” “Rich and I are both big foodies. We were looking for a big foodie farm-to-table culture.”
“Significant Mother”was originally conceived as a digital series for CW Seed, (also shot in Portland, last year) but was then bumped up to series programming for the CW network. The show premieres on the CW August 3rd.
