The nonprofit organization Unseen Films Oregon announced today the reading of its first
feature film, “Hold My Hand,” a gothic horror drama written by and starring local producer Rose
Harwood. “Hold My Hand” is scheduled to enter production this fall and represents a significant
milestone for the Ashland-based nonprofit organization.
“We’re building something exciting, and we’re inviting our vibrant local community to help
bring it to life,” said producer-actor-writer Rose Harwood. Rose most recently associate-
produced Bruce Campbell and Ida Gearon’s Ernie & Emma and has been a working actor and
producer for two decades.
The April event will support essential production costs. As a nonprofit organization, Unseen
Films Oregon ensures that all contributions are tax-deductible and directly support the creation
of the film.
“Independent filmmaking thrives when communities rally behind bold, original stories,” said
Unseen Films Oregon Board Chair Trish Bowcock. “This campaign allows supporters to invest in local artists, local jobs, and a film that reflects the creative spirit of our region.”
Spaces are limited and RSVP is necessary. The reading is free – but a donation will be greatly
appreciated.
