We’re lucky enough to have a local media community that by in large likes to write about the local projects. One journalist that stands out as a huge supporter of the local community is Kristi Turnquist. Yesterday the Oregonian published this interview with “Leverage” star Timothy Hutton. It was a nice interview and Timothy opened up about filming in Portland, this year’s premiere episode which was shot on Mount Hood, and the direction of Season 4.
For those of you who don’t know, “Leverage” is due to premiere season 4 on June 26. The show opens this year with an episode on a mountain which was shot up on Mount Hood – a huge undertaking. It’s worth noting that we have had a great swell in production here in Oregon over the last years and interest from TV companies is at an all time high, but it was Electric Entertainment and their show “Leverage” in 2009 that really started this momentum and we at Oregon Film are eternally grateful for all they have done for the local industry. Let’s hope Season four is as successful if not more than the previous three!
