  of Humanity is a half-hour\, monthly video news magazine comprising a col
 lection of stories from the wide world of cultural heritage and archaeolog
 y.  Since October 2014\, we have covered 25 stories coming from 7 US state
 s and territories and 12 other countries.  The December edition of Strata 
 is now available for viewing on Comcast OnDemand in the western Oregon reg
 ion on the 15th.</p>\n<p>Dan Elliot of the LAMAR Institute set out to docu
 ment Carr’s Fort\, a fortified farmstead used during the American Revolu
 tionary War. The fort originally was commanded by Captain Robert Carr and 
 housed his 100 patriot troops.  In February of 1779\, the woods of north G
 eorgia were bristling with small skirmishes between the patriots and the B
 ritish.  The battles helped determine the outcome of the Revolutionary War
 .  Carr’s Fort and its sister sites are part of the fabric of the histor
