To make his documentary, Sándor's New Zealand Trail, Sándor Lau, now of Eugene, Oregon walked 300 miles with a camera and a backpack. The film shows Thursday Aug. 8 at 6pm Pacific, 9pm Eastern on new broadcaster, The Venture Channel. Subsequent screenings to be scheduled soon.

On his walk from Auckland to Cape Reinga, the northernmost tip of New Zealand, Sándor discovers the weight of a toothbrush handle, why we spend our lives walking backwards, and the number of footsteps to home. Taking duties both in front of and behind the camera, Sándor meets travelers from around the world including Scotland, Japan, Australia, the Netherlands and many indigenous Maori people.

The Venture Channel is a new global TV channel averaging over 50,000 viewers daily only one month after only a month broadcasting. The Venture Channel is available on Roku or through multiple on-demand services. www.convergtv.com.
