Feature Film made in Rogue Valley Opens at Ashland Theatre

Calvin Marshall opens this Friday, April 30th at the Varsity Theater in Ashland.

One of the largest film productions shot entirely in Southern Oregon,”Calvin Marshall,” an independent baseball comedy, stars Steve Zahn, Alex Frost and Michelle Lombardo, along with many recognizable stars from the big and small screen, including Jane Adams. Diedrich Bader, Abraham Benrubi and many others.

Live Reading of feature script “Let’s Do It”

On May 9th at Cinema Pacific, there will be a staged reading of the feature script “Let’s Do It” written by U of O alum Bryce Zabel.  The story is based on true events surrounding the making of the first feature length student film which was produced in 1929 at the University of Oregon.  In addition to using local actors for the reading, University of Oregon President will be playing the part of the U of O President (talk about type casting!).

MDiTV Launches First Comprehensive Medical News Network

The MDiTV website is live and fully operational. On it you can watch our first week of news stories and several previews of our upcoming programs. Trout on the Wind

Local filmmaker Sam Drevo will present his newly released film Trout on the Wind on the amazing story of restoration and renewal of Trout Creek through removal of Hemlock Dam. Sam Drevo and Ralph Bloemers, both avid whitewater paddlers and river advocates, collaborated on this production telling the story through the words of the individuals directly involved in it, and those influenced by it.

Doors open at 6:30pm – films start at 7pm

University of Oregon to Host Cinema Pacific Film Festival

Ovation TV is Looking for the next American Revolutionary Director

Rollin’ On TV Scheduled to Shoot in Eugene

Rollin’ On TV, the cable TV network program about RVs and the RV lifestyle, is immersed in producing its spring 2010 season episodes.

The show’s production team will be in the Eugene area the week of April 26-29 covering some local RV-related stories including the George M. Sutton RV dealership success and other subjects of interest to the national RV-viewing audience.
