Exploring Documentary in 360/VR
– Telling stories has never been easier with the ubiquitous use of smart phones that capture HD video. In this hands-on workshop we'll learn best practices for shooting, editing and sharing our work with others in this mobile format. In the course of one day you will shoot sample scenes, learn how to capture optimal sound and picture, select the right shots to tell a story, then edit and share your piece on your phone or tablet. The workshop is oriented towards Apple iPhone and iPad but the methods shown can also be apply to Android devices. The class will work with the Filmic Pro app (Optional Purchase, $15 for iOS or Android) and Apple iMovie (free for iPhone, $5 for iPad).
