– Walk the red carpet. Grab a balloon animal! Watch films made by kids. Come to the Kids Film Festival. Held exclusively at Laurelhurst Theater on Saturday, March 3rd. Tickets are $3 each. The doors will open at 12:30pm—come early to get a Festival swag bag, available only to the first 50 attendees. The Kids Film Festival is a program of the Portland Film Festival, a local 501(c)3 non-profit, the Boys & Girls Club of Portland and Comcast. Through their partnership, the Festival created the #FutureFilmmakers program—an outreach filmmaking camp that gives youth from around the Portland metro area the opportunity to work with professional filmmakers to produce short films. The Festival will be screening two short blocks of films made by kids: Short Block 1: Kids’ Shorts from Around the World Short Block 2: #FutureFilmmakers - Boys & Girls Club of Portland For more information about the Kids Film Festival, go to kidsfilmfestival.com March 29, 2018 NW Documentary's spring-term Editing workshops are beginning in early April and there's still space to register!
