Two local agencies team up with Travel Oregon to produce a new video promoting tourism. Dave Weich of Sheepscot Creative and Kate Sokoloff of Sokoloff Creative, in conjunction with the Travel Oregon team, offered their creative services to this project that focuses on Governor John Kitzhaber’s own personal memories of growing up in the state. Amidst stunning footage of Oregon’s scenic landscape are photos from the Governor’s personal photo album. These images of him as a young boy fishing and camping illustrate his connection with Oregon’s rural pristine places and the benefits of travel. The video will live on a new website dedicated to promoting tourism for the state and serves as a reminder that the travel industry in Oregon plays a role in welcoming visitors, and also sustaining and protecting this place we all love.
