Local Premiere of Independent film ‘Nightscape’

The local premiere of our debut film, ‘Nightscape’ will screen on Friday, November 16th at 7:30pm and 9:30pm at The Venetian Theater in Hillsboro. The film will also screen on Friday, December 14th at 9:30pm at The Hollywood Theater in Portland as a benefit for the education advocacy organization Stand for Children.

‘Nightscape’ is about an emotionally-guarded drifter who crosses paths with a phantom car responsible for a wave of supernatural violence. The film was shot last summer in Portland, Sauvie Island, Hillsboro, North Plains, Banks, and St. Helens. Nearly all of the production’s cast and crew were locals.

I’m really pleased to bring ‘Nightscape’ to local audiences! I made my fair share of student shorts in my hometown of Hillsboro and am gratified to finally screen my first feature there. It’s a smart, supernatural thriller that relies more on character and atmosphere than gimmicky jump scares.

Premiere attendees will be eligible to receive several giveaways, including t-shirts, posters, soundtrack CDs, and signed copies of an original tie-in novel. A free action-driving game for Apple products is already available for download on iTunes.

‘Nightscape’ debuted at the Montreal Comiccon Horrorfest last month and will next screen at the New York City Horror Film Festival, the largest genre festival of its kind.
