Portland Incubator Experiment Open for New Applicants

The Portland Incubator Experiment (PIE) is now open for new applicants. What say you is PIE?  Well on their website they spell it out pretty clearly:

The Portland Incubator Experiment (PIE) is a partnership among leading brands, technology innovators, and Wieden+Kennedy — the largest privately held advertising and communications company in the world. It serves as a hub for community, entrepreneurship, and creative thinking.

It’s a collaborative center where brands, tech, and culture meet to explore and redefine brand experiences. And another example of how Wieden+Kennedy and its brand partners are continuously innovating on the edges of tech, culture, and brand experiences.

Why do I bring it up?  Well PIE is an amazing opportunity for creative entrepreneurs who are looking for an intensive three month period where they can crystallize their idea so it’s ready for market.  They’ll even pay you for three months!  Last year the company MoPix was one of the eight applicants chosen so I can tell you that PIE is interested in media related efforts.  So check it out – perhaps your great idea will be selected to be one of the next class of PIE members!
