Faceout Films in Bend Poised to Grow With New Video Production Capabilities

FACEOUT STUDIO HAS LAUNCHED VIDEO PRODUCITON CAPABILITY TO MEETGROWING DEMAND

Bend, OR – May 8, 2012. Faceout Studio, a firm specializing in book design since 1996, has recently expanded its services to include film production. Faceout Films shot its first book trailer in the fall of 2010 and has since produced over 20 projects for various national media companies. Faceout Films is currently producing trailers, teasers, commercials, interviews and short films. In addition, they are offering clients an array of value–added deliverables such as behind-the-scenes live action footage and stills. Faceout Films is also collaborating with several partners to launch a casting call initiative with the goal of recruiting and training emerging talent in Central Oregon for print and film projects. Faceout and its various brand extensions have placed talent in hundreds of projects over the years.

Companies paying attention to consumer trends are actively seeking innovative ways to leverage their key storylines into watch formats as the demand for video driven promotion has grown substantially in recent years. Cisco Visual Networking Index initiative indicates internet video is now 40 percent of all consumer internet traffic, and will reach 62 percent by the end of 2015 (cisco.com). As Peter Kaufman suggests in Publishers Weekly (May, 2011), viral videos are reaching more potential customers than almost any kind of marketing, advertising, or publicity campaign the world has previously known. The Internet Advertising Bureau reported that internet ad revenue soared to a landmark high of $31 billion in 2011.That milestone represents a 22 percent increase over 2010’s full-year number, which itself had been a record-breaker at $26 billion (iab.net).

Seeing vast potential for companies to leverage their content and engage with consumers in more dynamic ways, Faceout Films began producing films with an emphasis on production quality and purposeful engagement with the viewer. Faceout Films partners with highly specialized production and post production professionals who excel at their specific craft and deliver world class photography, editing, color correction, sound design and visual effects.  Faceout Film’s first film project netted over 300,000 views and they recently wrapped a production having shot on the RED Epic camera. In every case, Faceout Films remains committed to production quality and clarity of messaging.

Faceout Studio is a market leading design firm and film production company. Since 1996, they have produced results for a broad range of national and international clientele. Over the years their work has been recognized by Communication Arts, the AIGA, Print magazine, Eye magazine, STEP magazine, Graphis, CMYK, Graphic Design: USA and the national American Advertising Federation. They have been invited to speak at various events hosted by the AIGA, AAUP, and the Shanghai Press and Publications Bureau.
