The Women In Film Board

Kate Ertmann is a businesswoman, seasoned speaker, thought leader and a charitable advocate. A child actor for kid’s television programming and commercials, Kate renounced her Hollywood hopes in favor of a telecommunications degree from Ohio University. She founded the Portland chapter of Women in Animation and is an active member of many industry organizations. She sits on the board of two charities and won a 2011 Orchid Award for being one of Portland’s Most Influential Women for her work. Kate became a partner at ADi in 2000 and the sole owner in 2008.

Uli Beutter Cohen is an active member of Portland’s creative community having contributed to many award-winning shorts, music videos and a feature film. Her ability to tell a good story and empower a team to realize it led her to open Sandymontana in 2007. As creative director at Sandymontana, a creative studio focused on storytelling, Uli has led campaigns for brands such as Nike, 20th Century Fox, Bonneville Environmental Foundation, Interscope Records and VitalKultur. Her recent work for acclaimed fashion designer Prabal Gurung was recognized by Blackbook Magazine and LVMH as digital marketing’s “Best of the Season.” When not hustling in the name of advertising, Uli pretends to rest her mind and have an abundance of fulfilling hobbies.
