Yesterday in the New York Times Arts Section Adam Kepler wrote a piece about the new “Tron: Legacy” Motion comic that is out in conjunction with the feature release. I bet you didn’t know that this was produced by an up and coming company here in Oregon. Double Barrel Motion Labs is a growing company that has a base here in Portland and recently has shown interest in having even more of a footprint in Oregon. Chief Executive Jeff Kreilitz called our office earlier in the year as his company started to line up a slew of new projects. Also coming out of the Portland office are animated motion comic projects associated with “The Muppets”, “Epic Mickey”, and “Valora”.
2011 is also looking to be a big year for Double Barrel according to Jeff and we’re eager to see what is in store for the future.
