MITCH (Morgan Lee) has just left school with an MFA in Creative Writing and is prepared to take the literary world by storm. First, however, he has to survive his new job as a barista at Portland’s Rose City Coffeehouse. His co-workers certainly don’t make things any easier: STACY (Lara Kobrin), whose life is a pile-up of bad decisions; ALICIA (Melissa Kaiser), an actress who’s determined to be happy (even if she really isn’t); and DIRK (Leif Norby), who delights in the pain and torment of others.
Created by Chris A. Bolton, WAGE SLAVES is a web-series about how to get along when your dreams just won’t come true. Believe it or not, it’s a comedy.
