Sean Hayes and Todd Milliners’ Hazy Mills Productions has announced a new podcast slate. One on the list is, “The GrimmCast,” described as a re-watch party and behind-the-scenes discussion with Erik McCormack and stars, Claire Coffee, Bitsie Tulloch, and Bree Turner.

Oregon Film Trail Adds Canby’s, Eco Park!

City of Canby officials with the newest sign on the Oregon Film Trail.

The City of Canby’s Eco Park was added to the Oregon Film Trail and commemorated with a community dedication. NBC’s “Grimm” was filmed in the city’s Eco Park in early 2014.  The public celebration was held on Friday, October 29th right in beautiful Eco Park. Canby City’s Economic Development Department assisted production crews to identify a location by providing access to the park and found parking to store trailers, equipment, and crew facilities. Governor Brown Dedicates Grove Of Trees To #ThankYouGrimm!

This afternoon, Governor Kate Brown joined members of the “Grimm” cast and crew along with the City of Portland, State of Oregon elected officials, and representatives from  Oregon Film, Friends of Trees, Friends of Pier Park and Comcast/NBC. They all came together to plant a small grove of trees in beautiful Pier Park, North Portland, creating a lasting tribute to the work and the legacy of the long running show. #ThankYouGrimm – Governor To Unveil Grove Of Trees

Next week, Governor Kate Brown, will unveil a grove of trees in a north Portland park, as a way to permanently thank many departments in the City of Portland, and to celebrate the crew, vendors and service people of Oregon that made it possible for the show to be such a success.

Grove of Trees To Be Planted In North Portland Park- #ThankYouGrimm

We are excited to announce that, along with City of Portland, and Friends of Trees, we will be planting a grove of trees in a north Portland park as a fitting way to say #ThankyouGrimm. “Grimm” the #OregonMade, NBC Universal series, shot in many locations around the metro area.  The show ended earlier this year after 6 years and 123 episodes, all based in Oregon.  This remarkable series not only added to Oregon’s marketing perception around the world, it also provided 300 jobs on a year-to-year basis and directly spend almost $300M in the state. Productions Give Back with Film Shadow Program

As we bid farewell to “Grimm” and welcome both “The Librarians” and “Portlandia” back for their next seasons this coming Spring and Summer – we wanted to share a very special program we were able to put together last summer with the help of the producers of these shows, Open Signal, the City of Portland and NBC/Universal.

“Grimm” Gala Raises Over $800K For Doernbecher’s At Final Gala

Over the weekend, “Grimm”  NBCUniversal, Comcast, and Nike brought together cast, crew and attendees for the final time, to raise money for Doernbecher Children’s Hospital Foundation.  Within 3 hours, over $800,000 was raised from the gala’s auction of unique items, and props, from the show that has called Portland their home for 7 years and 6 seasons.

Goodbye To “Grimm” – Last Season Premiering Tomorrow Night on NBC

Tomorrow night sees “Grimm“‘s last season premiere – we will all be sad to say goodbye to the show’s quirky and murky portrayal of Portland’s fictitious underbelly, the real city locations, the Wesen, the Police precinct, and the many character actors and stars alike.  Six seasons, seven years in the making, and well over 100 episodes later, “Grimm” is set to come to an end, but it leaves behind a healthy and successful legacy of collaboration between the city, NBC, the many crew members, special effects houses, extras,  and literally hundreds of local services and vendors.
