Technology Association of Oregon Opens Satellite Office in Eugene

TECHnology Association of OregonThe Technology Association of Oregon, an organization that advocates for the state’s tech companies, and whose vision is to “create a world-class and inclusive innovation economy in Oregon and SW Washington by helping the region’s technology and tech-enabled industries to grow through programs and initiatives that focus on industry promotion, advocacy, professional networks, and talent development” has opened a satellite office in Eugene.

Eugene has been a growing center for high-tech firms, the video game industry being one of them, and TAO’s presence will help focus and promote a young workforce looking to get into tech, as well as serving as a voice for the industry, and a networking hub, amongst other things.  The Lane Workforce Partnership and the University of Oregon partnered with TAO to open what is the first office outside of the Portland metro area.  Matt Sayre will be heading up the Eugene office.  Read more details here.
