We don’t usually post articles or information relating to the film industry outside of Oregon, but I thought this article was thought provoking. The Wrap is a pretty decent website covering the happenings within the industry and unlike Variety – the site is free! Don’t be fooled by the negative connotations behind the “failings of the film industry”. A lot of what Ted Hope has to say in the article is thought provoking and relevant to all you filmmakers out there in Oregon. I really believe there are opportunities for Oregon filmmakers to be innovative in this new landscape of independent film. Who out there is going to be the first to figure it out?
